A little about me…

Wife, human toddler and dog mom, artist, and generally a lovable weirdo.

With over 17 years of tattooing—from my apprenticeship in Eugene, Oregon to years in Texas and Steamboat Springs—I created Monarch Tattoo Studio in Grand Junction as a calm, comfortable space focused on client connection and quality work. The name reflects the idea that tattoos are a metamorphosis: whether deeply symbolic, a cover-up, or just rad art, they mark our personal evolution and moments in time. Today, my licensed private space offers a welcoming, living-room feel where we can collaborate directly on your next piece.

I work in color, black and grey, original or cover-ups.

My favorite style: Illustrative black and grey with a focus on dark, organic nature. Think flowing botanical forms, flowers, lush ferns, and skulls tangled in wild growth—celebrating the delicate line between life and decay. (And yes, if you bring me a mushroom project, you instantly make my day!)
